TransformArt 5: Invisible (in) Art

We are opening a new semester of the TransformArt course! This time, we will focus on overlooked personalities and themes in contemporary art. We will build on our two exhibitions this year – the retrospective Exposures of the recently rediscovered photographer Lucie Moholy and the solo show of the internationally acclaimed Japanese artist Chiharu Shiota. 

We will be interested in the role of women as artists in modern and contemporary art. We will also address the legal aspects of authorship of an artwork. This time, we are in for a tour of the first Czechoslovak skyscraper and a workshop with artificial intelligence.

KunstKino

KunstKino presents a selection of films thematically linked to Kunsthalle Praha’s exhibition program. Its silver screen will light up every last Wednesday of the month at 19:00. We will be showing historical and contemporary documentary films, as well as some feature films exploring the interdisciplinary overlaps of art. You will be able to enhance your viewing experience with a drink or a small snack.

For Families

At the Kunsthalle, there are places where you can create, play, and discover on your own. Or take home your own artistic experience. Bring the whole family and immerse yourselves in the world of art. In the Kidshalle, you’ll find an art playroom, in the Booklounge, books and magazines about art for all generations. And on the Art Wall, you can create your own light graffiti!
