Kunsthalle x Lunchmeat: Aw!Lab—from scratch! 2.0

Kolabo Lunchmeat Studia a Kunsthalle Praha přináší již druhou večerní živou improvizaci vizuálních a hudebních umělkyň a umělců. Přímo v galerii, na motivy aktuální výstavy Strange Attractions londýského studia United Visual Artists.

KÓD-POHYB-GRAVITACE 

Unikátní experimentální performance Aw!Lab—from scratch! zve k zážitku z umělecké tvorby s využitím digitálních technologií. Každý začne pracovat od nuly – from scratch. Živý tvůrčí proces doprovodí hudebnice a hudebníci, jejichž improvizace vstoupí do dialogu s projekcemi na rozsáhlých plochách Galerie 3. Hlavním tématem je vizuální programování. Během večera budou umělci a umělkyně vytvářet nové kompozice zaměřené na otázky gravitačních sil a jejich nepředvídatelné vzorce.

Boris Vitázek
Bratislavský umělec zaměřující se na nová média, Boris Vitázek, je všestranný vizuální umělec s rozsáhlými znalostmi v oblasti 3D a interaktivity. Klade důraz na dramaturgii a kombinaci různých médií do jednoho uceleného díla. Vitázek se zabývá tématy, jako jsou otázky soukromí, sociální média, náboženství, věda a čisté zkoumání zvuku a vizuálů ve vztahu k divákovi. Jeho práce často zahrnují software, jako je Blender, Unity, VCV rack, DaVinci Resolve a vvvv – nástroje, které jsou úzce spjaté s jeho tvorbou a komunitními aktivitami.

av.valeri
Ukrajinská umělkyně nových médií a urbanistka Valeriia se zaměřuje na generativní algoritmy a audio-reaktivní přístupy k projekcím. Její tvorba je minimalistická, hypnotická a využívá software Touch Designer jako svou hlavní platformu. Jako VJ spolupracovala mimo jiné s Adela Mede, Floexem a Tomem VR.

gnd
Experimentátor s Pure-data, divadelní režisér, audiovizuální provokatér, programátor a VJ, Peter Gonda alias gnd vytváří vizuály plné explozivních barev, roztrhaných pixelů, srážejících se forem a hroutících se geometrických tvarů. Jako VJ vystupoval s mezinárodně uznávanými umělci a projekty, jako jsou COH, Atom TM, Zdislaw Piernik, GNOD a další. Gonda je také členem volného improvizačního kolektivu tvůrců algoritmické hudby a vizuálů Kolektiv, který sídlí v Praze.

Never Sol
Musician, composer, and producer Never Sol began her career as a singer-songwriter, known for her melancholic songs. Today, she is making waves in underground electronic music with her own productions, which feature dark drone elements, cutting-edge deconstructed sounds, and a signature blend of powerful, layered music paired with delicate, almost fragile vocals.

BOLS/SLOB
Producer, songwriter, and DJ BOLS/SLOB is a rising star on Prague’s electronic scene. Having released music on the well-known Soul Feeder label, his sound is influenced by contemporary UK bass and PC Music. His tracks reflect on the world around him, capturing both the overwhelming euphoria and happy-and-sad moments of life.

rlung
rlung creates ambient-infused post-club soundscapes, blending field recordings with airy, thoughtful production. Her live sets are known for their intricate progression and use of repetition, which invites listeners to dive deeper into the nature of sound itself. Spacious and low-end driven, her music has the power to create immersive sonic landscapes, even if only for a fleeting moment.

Vaclav Havelka
Vaclav Havelka has been singing, playing guitar, and experimenting with instruments since the 1990s, leading Please the Trees and fyield among other of his projects. His genre scope is quite wide as his production journey has been going miles from making music for theatres to playing with his son in the sun+dead band to touring the U.S. all over, working with musicians across generations and genres.

Tokyo Drift
Self-proclaimed Aneta Langerová of Czech rap, Tokyo Drift has her roots deep in the improvisation, now mixed with electronic production Her latest album, Scorpio Season, features raw, emotionally charged lyrics that reflect her experiences and the world around her. The album also showcases meticulous beat-making, sound design, and the blending of guitar parts and samples. With strong influences from contemporary Czech rap and several rap collaborations under her belt, Tokyo Drift’s sound is uniquely her own.
