How do I become a Kunsthalle Praha Member?
You may purchase a membership online or at the Kunsthalle Praha ticket desk during regular opening hours. Memberships are valid for one year from the date of purchase.
May I purchase a membership as a gift?
Should you wish to give someone a membership, purchase a Kunsthalle Praha gift voucher, which is valid for twelve months from the date of issue. In exchange for the voucher, the recipient will obtain a one-year membership of the respective gift voucher category. The voucher may be exchanged for a higher category of membership than specified, in which case the difference in price between categories must be paid.
How do I renew my membership?
Memberships may be renewed online or at the Kunsthalle Praha ticket desk. For renewal, you will need your 13-digit membership card number.
How do I use a gift voucher?
Gift vouchers may be redeemed at the ticket desk or online by selecting your membership category and filling in the “Voucher ID” on the purchase form.
How will I receive my membership?
Your membership will be sent to the specified email address in electronic format as a QR code and PDF as soon as the purchase has been completed and the membership fee has been paid. You may also pick up your membership card personally at the ticket desk or choose to receive it by post.
May I change my membership category?
You cannot change the category while your membership is active. You may change it at the time you renew your membership.
How do I change my email address or any other contact information?
Send your updated contact information via email to membership@kunsthallepraha.org.
Can an invoice be issued in my employer’s name?
Yes. Send us the information about your selected membership category and your employer, including their Company ID, via email to membership@kunsthallepraha.org.
What should I do if my membership card is lost or stolen?
Contact us via email at membership@kunsthallepraha.org with a request to issue a new membership card.
May I lend my membership to someone else?
No. Your membership is nontransferable and it is issued in your name. Guests of members with a Double, Friend or Patron membership may visit Kunsthalle Praha when accompanied by the membership holder.

Visiting Kunsthalle Praha
If I am a member, must I reserve an entrance ticket?
Members may visit Kunsthalle Praha upon presenting their membership card.
I am a member but would like to take children under the age of 15 with me. What should I do?
Children under the age of 15 are admitted free of charge, however you must reserve a space for them either on the ticket purchase form for the relevant exhibition or at the ticket desk.
How do I book a spot for Kunsthalle Praha supplementary events (guided tours, workshops, etc.)?
If a reservation is needed for an event, the same requirement applies to members. On the purchase form for the relevant event, select your membership category and specify the number of tickets. To complete your purchase, enter the number of a valid membership in the ‘13-digit ticket / membership / card number’ field below. You will not be able to complete your purchase without it. At the time of the event, present your ticket together with your Kunsthalle Praha membership card.
Do I need a membership card to visit the gallery?
Members are asked to prove their membership at the entrance to Kunsthalle Praha, either in the form of a QR code or a membership card. In some cases, members may be asked to also show their proof of identity.
Membership Benefits & Events
What events and activities are planned for members?
We organise a broad range of events for our members: guided tours, encounters with artists and curators, exhibition previews, and the possibility to visit Kunsthalle Praha during special opening hours. In addition, there is a special programme for our Junior members, and Kunsthalle Praha Patrons are invited to selected events.
Where can I find members’ events?
They are listed in the Events section on our website. Use the filter to select the ‘Members’ option under the ‘For whom’ heading. We also include an overview of members’ events in the special email Newsletter we send to our members.
Must I book a spot for events?
If a spot needs to be reserved in advance, the information is specified in the event description. Should a reservation be required, please do so using the GoOut form. You will need to present your ticket together with your membership card at the door.
As a member, do I have any benefits at the Design Shop and the Kunsthalle Café?
Members of all categories receive a 10% discount at the Design Shop upon presenting their membership card. Members have unrestricted access to the Kunsthalle Café.
I am not getting the Newsletter or any other messages from Kunsthalle Praha even though I supplied my correct email address.
Please check your Promotions, Spam, and Unsolicited Email folders. If you do not find any messages from Kunsthalle Praha, contact us at membership@kunsthallepraha.org. We recommend that you add our email address in your contact list.
