Since the 19th century, we have been fascinated by the romantic idea of poor but free artists. Why does bohemianism, the idea of breaking away from social norms and devoting oneself to art despite all hardships, continue to resonate with us today?

The questions will be answered, the works will be presented and you'll be guided through the exhibition Bohemia: History of an Idea 1950-2000 by the chief curator of Kunsthalle Praha, Christelle Havranek.
