The team creating programmes for you

Martina Freitagová
Public Programmes Manager
After studying art history at UCL in London, she worked at the Victoria & Albert Museum and as Head of Communications at Galerie Rudolfinum. She is dedicated to promoting contemporary art focusing on multigenerational and interdisciplinary activities related to art and co-author of the popular science books Why Art? and Fables & Constructions. She regularly lectures and contributes to periodicals on contemporary art, design, and architecture (Art+Antiques, Elle Decoration, Respekt) and is the author of programmes promoting film and architecture (CAMP Praha).

Barbora Škaloudová
Curator of Educational Programmes
For over 20 years, she has been dedicated to mediating contemporary art and architecture across generations. She specialises in artist-led workshops, audiovisual programmes, and educational projects, including seminars for educators. She is the author of interactive exhibitions, publications, and articles (e.g. FFFF Kupka, Images to Go).
She has worked at UMPRUM, Galerie Rudolfinum, and the National Gallery in Prague. She has also gained experience abroad (e.g. Spacex, Guggenheim Bilbao, SKD Dresden, ZKM Karlsruhe). She collaborates with organisations such as uMĚNÍM, NIPOS-ARTAMA, INSEA, and Step by Step.

Katie Schell
Public Programmes Coordinator
Originally from the USA, she moved to Prague to earn a bachelor’s degree in art history at the Anglo-American University. After completing her studies, she began working at Kunsthalle Praha as an educator in 2022. She currently works at Kunsthalle Praha as both an educator and coordinator of public programmes, while completing her master’s degree in Modern European Cultural History at the Faculty of Humanities, Charles University.
