Curator Talk: Lucia Moholy with Jan Tichy (CZE)

Come to a talk with contemporary Czech artist Jan Tichý. He will share how he first became acquainted with the story of Lucia Moholy. Tichý was a curator for the Exposures exhibition and in his work, he builds on Moholy's lost works, which went missing during her escape from the Nazi regime. His work reflects the relationship between photography and cultural preservation, and the status of photography as an art form. Tichý, who currently teaches at the prestigious Art Institute of Chicago, will introduce us to various media and technologies in photographic and documentary creation.
