Supervisor for Design Shop

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE

• Selling products in the new Kunsthalle Design Shop

• Providing detailed product information

• Supervising other shop staff

• Processing online orders and preparing goods for dispatch

• Receiving and checking new stock and handling related inventory tasks

• Communicating with customers and understanding their needs

• Organising and conducting regular stocktakes and evaluations

• Assisting with the introduction of new products / Maintaining a professional, visually appealing shop environment

• Training new shop employees

• Assisting in the organisation of customer events

• Operating the till and working with the accounting system and e-shop

• Invoicing – liaising with suppliers, sending invoices, managing consignments

• Attendance management – creating staff schedules, monitoring attendance and dress code

• Stock monitoring – tracking products and packaging materials, reporting low levels and placing re-orders when needed

YOUR PROFILE

• At least 1 year of experience in a similar role

• Minimum of secondary education

• Experience in sales and till operations

• Strong interest in our products and a genuine affinity for design or art

• Very good command of English (other languages an advantage)

• Excellent communication skills

• Reliability, proactivity, and a team-oriented attitude

• Leadership potential
