Collecting in the Digital Age: Meet Boris Groys at Kunsthalle

On Wednesday, September 6 at 6 PM, the world-renowned art & media critic and philosopher Boris Groys will have an online lecture called "Collecting in the Digital Age" at the Kunsthalle Bistro.      

In his talk, Groys will reflect on the expansion of art production & distribution through the lens of digital media as well as the ways in which the assembled artworks will be collected and preserved in the future.

The talk will be followed by the discussion between Boris Groys & Tevž Logar, which will evolve around the possibilities of collecting that were raised by Groys in his book Logic of the Collection and trying to establish connections to the current exhibition at the Kunsthalle Praha, Lost in the Moment That Follows

The event will take place with Boris Groys online in the presence of Tevž Logar at the Kunsthalle Bistro in English language.

Boris Groys is Professor at the Faculty of Arts and Science, New York University, and Professor of Philosophy and Art History, EGS, Saas Fee, Switzerland.
