Announcement of Kunsthalle Praha In Support Of Ukraine
After a seven-year long journey towards the opening of Kunsthalle Praha, it is not possible for us to only express joy. Not in days when Russia has launched a military invasion of Ukraine.
It is a painful moment for the entire democratic world. From our own experience we know how fragile freedom and human life can be.
Art, just like humanity, needs to breathe freely and live in freedom to exist. The violent attack of the Russian Federation’s armed forces against free Ukraine completely denies these values.
We stand by all of Ukraine and its citizens. We are thinking of you, your culture and, above all, your freedom.
