Another young members party is here!
Get ready for an explosive bad-boy vibe brought to you by the rap group Gufrau. The TikTok queen Beata will delight you with her smooth set, and at the textile workshop, you’ll meet fashion icon Anna Tran.
This event is just for you and others in the Junior category. Entry is free, so book your spot while you can!
Beata
Beata is a Czech singer-songwriter, a TikTok queen, and someone whose voice we could fall asleep to forever. Since childhood, she has been dedicated to playing the flute, reciting, and writing her own lyrics. Through her experimental, melancholic music, she aims to surprise and give listeners a glimpse into her mind. Her single Zanevření made it onto the Starter chart of Radio Wave.
Gufrau
Gufrau is a three-member rap bad-boy band from Prague. They love cruising around Letná, Holešovice, and Smíchov—and we can’t wait to see them. Not only do they move between neighborhoods, but they also blend genres, fusing EDM, pop, and rap. Plus, they can even play it all acoustically—but that won’t be the case at Kunsthalle, because they’re bringing the party!
Anna Tran
Fashion designer Anna Tran will guide you through the textile workshop. She is part of the young generation of fashion designers emerging from the Fashion Design Studio at Prague’s UMPRUM. In this workshop, she will explore ways to bring traditional craftsmanship into contemporary fashion.
The star of the session? Smocking—a hand-stitching technique that is a signature element of Anna’s work. She reimagines it in a modern way and will show you exactly how to do it. You’ll learn the basics and try it out on your own clothing pieces.
We’ll get straight to it! The goal is to understand the principles of smocking, learn how to work with fabric, and most importantly—embrace experimentation with textile textures.
How to attend the event?
Tickets can only be booked by members in the Junior category. But don’t worry—annual membership is free for everyone under 26! You and your friends can sign up and join the community.
The best part? Membership is completely free. You can get it on the Kunsthalle website, at the ticket office, or via GoOut.
