PAW: Family Guided Tour of Anna-Eva Bergman & Hans Hartung: And We’ll Never Be Parted

Date: 27/9 2025, 4 PM

Come and explore the exhibition with your family. Our educator will highlight fascinating details and answer curious questions along the way.

The lives of Anna-Eva Bergman (1909–1987) and Hans Hartung (1904–1989) were uniquely intertwined. They first met in Paris in the 1920s, were separated in 1937, lived through the Second World War, and reunited in 1952. Even though they shared their lives, each kept a distinctive artistic style, constantly shaping and refining their work in dialogue with one another.

The exhibition highlights both their differences and their connections. Inspired by nature, the cosmos, and the language of music, they each created art in their own unmistakable way. Although their works may seem very different, their paths often crossed, forming a shared space where they could live together through painting.

This program is suitable for families with children aged 5 and above.
