Summer is back at Kunsthalle Praha, and so are our popular members’ evenings.
Every Wednesday, Kunsthalle stays open until 9 PM, giving you more time to enjoy art, catch up with friends, and sip refreshing drinks on our sunny terraces. On Wednesday, August 27, visitors can also look forward to a special quilting workshop with artist Lucie Rosická, or try a limited-edition drink available only that evening in the café.
PROGRAMME
WEDNESDAY 27/8 2025
11 AM-9 PM | Gallery 1, 2 & 3 | Exhibitions And We’ll Never Be Parted & The Call of the Forest
The intertwined lives of Anna-Eva Bergman and Hans Hartung stand out among 20th-century artistic couples. And We'll Never Be Parted tells a story of closeness and distance, love and profound creative connection. Visitors will experience this through 300 works, including paintings, drawings, and intimate personal objects.
The Call of the Forest is the first institutional exhibition in Prague by Kristýna and Marek Milde. It presents works that playfully challenge the divide between nature and culture. Blurring the lines between the domestic and the wild, the artists incorporate unexpected materials and elements to rethink our relationship with the natural world.
4 PM | Artist Workshop: Quilting with Lucie Rosická (CZE)
Join rising artist Lucie Rosická for a hands-on quilting workshop. Participants will learn her unique textile techniques using various types of quilting machines. Lucie will guide you through working with fabrics, padding, and layering, helping you develop your own design or work from a provided template. Everyone will leave with a small handmade piece. More information and registration here
The exhibitions, along with our Design Shop, café, and terraces, will be open until 9 PM.
