Kristyna and Marek Milde: The Call of the Forest
The Call of the Forest is the first institutional exhibition of Kristyna and Marek Milde in Prague. It presents works that playfully challenge the dichotomy between nature and culture. Blurred boundaries between the domestic and the wild are explored through unexpected materials and elements. Key highlights of the exhibition include site-specific works created especially for Kunsthalle Praha – the Arbomobile (2024), a New York City taxi filled with living trees, and the video animation The Call of the Forest (2024), both of which bring Gallery 3 to life in dynamic and thought-provoking ways.

Anna-Eva Bergman & Hans Hartung: And We’ll Never Be Parted
The intertwined lives of Anna-Eva Bergman (1909–1987) and Hans Hartung (1904–1989) are unique in the history of 20th-century artist couples. Their shared journey spanned their first meeting in 1920s Paris, a separation in 1937, the turmoil of the Second World War, and a final reunion in 1952. Despite their closeness, each retained a distinct artistic voice, continuously refining their respective approaches through mutual influence. This exhibition explores the harmony of their differences and similarities. Bergman and Hartung drew from shared sources of inspiration: the forces of nature, the far reaches of the cosmos, and the language of music. Yet each interpreted these themes in a singular way. While their works differ at their core, their paths frequently intersect, creating a shared space – a place where they could live together through painting.
