Discussion as a part of the Arts & Creativity in Learning Festival, held in Czech.
From primary schools to examples from art academies. We will be looking at the role of the artist in the classroom and will focus in particular on opening up free thinking, creativity, and otherness in our approach to art and the world around us. Possible questions that will help us to gain insight into the issues of the current system and show examples of good practice.
The discussion relates to Markéta Magidová's exhibition My Sweet Inedible Planet, whose work explores the limits and forms of children's imagination. Kateřina Šedá (artist) and Vladimír Kokolia (artist, university teacher) will take the floor in the form of an interview. Among the panel participants will be Markéta Magidová (artist, university teacher), Richard Loskot (artist, university teacher), Magdalena Novotná (university teacher) and Michaela Matysová (primary school teacher). The moderator will be Petr Vizina.
