Who will guide you through the spring cycle of TransformArt?
In the new semester of TransformArt, you will again meet prominent figures from the contemporary art scene as well as theorists from various fields. More names will be revealed soon!
The summer semester of TransformArt focuses on the theme Landscapes of (Self)discovery and Sharing and will loosely build on the ongoing exhibition The Unsettled Soul by Chiharu Shiota as well as the works of Kristýna and Marek Milde titled The Call of the Forest.
The course will run from March 10 to May 12, every Monday at 6:00 PM at Kunsthalle Praha or in the field. It is for anyone who wants to better understand contemporary and modern art. Teachers and students get a 50% discount. Members receive a 20% discount.

Kasia Fudakowski
A visual artist from Berlin. She works with sculpture, film, and performance. Through playful concepts in her work, she reflects on the absurdity of social norms and explores cultural contradictions.

Emma Hanzlíková
An art theorist and sinologist. She focuses on connecting Asian and European art. Emma is also part of the Prague-based children's book publisher Meander.

Lucie Králík Rosická
Her main mediums are painting and textiles. She connects traditional and contemporary techniques, and her themes include intimacy and the depiction of unfiltered everyday life.

Helena Čapková
A Japanologist, art historian, and university lecturer. She specializes in visual art, the history of Japanese art, architecture, and design.

Jason Waite
An independent curator who studied at prestigious institutions such as Oxford and the Ruskin School of Art. He is a co-curator of the project Don't Follow the Wind, which brings life back to the exclusion zone of Fukushima.
