Workshop: In the Cabinet of Curiosities (Prague Art Week)

What happens when objects start to tell stories of a specific place? Zenger Transformer Station is full of exciting histories and transformations. Together we will investigate the Cabinet of Electric Curiosities, a site-specific installation of the American artist Mark Dion, who as an archeologist explores and categorises the relics of the former transformer station and creates fun takes on traditional museum presentation. Participants make their own videos and join the mutual digital cabinet. We work in iMovie on iPads, use the storytelling method and contemporary approaches to narration.
