Visitors are invited to a celebratory launch of a unique catalogue accompanying the exhibition Roman Ondak: The Day After Yesterday, with the artist present in person.
Richly illustrated and featuring essays by Barbora Ropková and Dieter Roelstraete, the catalogue documents the exhibition and offers a closer look at Ondak’s artistic universe, where existential and wider social themes naturally intertwine with the story of his own family. The publication presents an overview of the artist’s work from the past thirty years across a broad range of forms, including process based and performative works that blur the boundaries between art and everyday life.
During the evening, the performance Swap will take place from 8.00 pm directly in the exhibition, in the Measuring the Universe space. Visitors are welcome to take part and are encouraged to bring a small item to exchange as part of the performance.
