Members’ Trip: Olomouc
Date: 21/3 2026
We invite you to join us for another members’ art trip. This time, we’re heading to the city of Olomouc. The day will include a visit to the cultural centre Telegraph, a culinary experience at Long Story Short, and visits to both unconventional and iconic villas that reveal the stories of their owners and the city’s history.
10.15 AM | Telegraph
Telegraph is a multifunctional cultural space focused on presenting contemporary art with an international scope. It serves as an open meeting place for artists, professionals, and the wider public, contributing to the cultural life of the city. Set in a former telegraph factory, we will visit the exhibition Transylvanian Painting Today.
12.15 PM | Group lunch at Long Story Short
Known for honest cooking, artisanal baking, and seasonal ingredients prepared with respect for nature. In 2025, the restaurant received recognition from the Michelin Guide and was also ranked among the 30 best restaurants in the Czech Republic by Gault & Millau.
2.15 PM | The Králík Family Silo Villa
A meeting with Barbora and Radim Králík, parents of artist Lucie Králík Rosická. In the unusual setting of a former grain silo, they fulfilled their dream by building a family home on its upper floor. Passionate art collectors and art lovers, they will share their enthusiasm for art and the unique story of the house in their own home. The building received the Grand Prix of Architects award in 2007.
4 PM | Primavesi Villa
An unassuming villa that conceals an exceptionally important part of Olomouc’s long history. Built in 1905 for Otto and Made Primavesi, it is one of the most valuable examples of Viennese Art Nouveau in Central Europe and has been a National Cultural Monument since 2010.
