We invite you to another Members' Trip for art. Join us on a visit to the cultural zone 8smička in Humpolec, which has become one of the major centers of modern and contemporary art in the Czech Republic in recent years. We are setting off on Saturday, March 15.
Experience 8smička up close with the gallery's director, Martina Hončíková. The tour will take you behind the scenes of the gallery, introduce you to the current exhibition, and present the unique collection display 7+1: The Collector’s Apartment, featuring more than 100 artworks. During your visit, you will also discover artistic interventions in public spaces, pushing the boundaries of art beyond the gallery walls. Let yourself be enchanted by 8smička’s unique atmosphere and uncover the stories behind its creation and operation.

8smička
The Humpolec-based 8smička zone aims to blur the lines between the center and the periphery. This former industrial complex, located halfway between Prague and Brno, has been transformed into a cultural space that connects visitors with modern and contemporary art.
8smička serves as a catalyst for the development of a local Humpolec community while remaining open to visitors from far and wide. The gallery organizes three exhibitions annually, complemented by a diverse program designed for both local and traveling audiences.
