Date: 7 October 2026, 18:00

Join us for a welcome drink in the relaxed atmosphere of the Kunsthalle Praha Café, where you’ll have the opportunity to meet curators Christelle Havranek and Theo Carnegy-Tan, as well as the Kunsthalle Praha team. You will meet the people behind the new exhibition Annette Messager: Tragikomedie, gain insight into its preparation, and celebrate its opening.

For more than fifty years, Annette Messager has been creating a world where tenderness meets unease. Using everyday materials – such as fabrics, toys, photographs, and stuffed animals – she creates fragile monuments to memory, identity, and desire. Through large-scale installations, drawings, and collages, she challenges conventional ways of representing the human body, gender, and emotions.

• No reservation is required, but please don’t forget to bring your membership card.

• Exclusively for Kunsthalle Praha members.
