KunstPlay: Paperback Sewing

Inspired by the Elmgreen & Dragset: READ exhibition, we will focus on the very construction of the book.

We will explore various types of Japanese bindings and create our own booklet using the so-called butterfly binding technique. All under the guidance of Jan Hybner, a bookbinder and educator, drawing inspiration from the Bauhaus school and the Far East, alongside his colleague Vladimíra Šturmová.

• The workshop will take place directly in the UMPRUM workshop.
