Guided Tour: United Visual Artists & Lucia Moholy

The second-to-last guided tour of the exhibition Lucia Moholy: Exposures will take you through the fascinating world of this pioneering photographer. Originally from Prague, Lucia Moholy was a significant documentarian of the Bauhaus movement. Her work, characterized by precise composition and a sensitive perception of light, has influenced generations of photographers. The exhibition offers the opportunity to explore not only her iconic images but also lesser-known works that reveal the personal aspects of her life and creative process.

You will also visit the Strange Attractions exhibition, realized in collaboration with Signal Festival and Kunsthalle Praha. This exhibition showcases the current work of the legendary British studio UVA – United Visual Artists. UVA whimsically integrates new technologies with traditional media such as sculpture, performance, and site-specific installations. The Strange Attractions exhibition illuminates the parallels between the unpredictability of chaos theory and the structured patterns that emerge within it. At the exhibition, UVA will present several works that develop the dynamics of order and chaos across the levels of language, social and economic phenomena, and space-time theories.
