The Battle Between YES and NO is the first major exhibition in the Czech Republic dedicated to the work of South African artist William Kentridge, whose practice intertwines political, historical, and personal experiences with universal themes of human existence. During the guided tour, you will explore his creative evolution from early animated films to current multidisciplinary projects that encompass drawing, sculpture, performance, film, and opera, while examining how these various media communicate with one another. The program also features a workshop for schools focused on the technique of chroma keying in video, which was developed in collaboration with artist Matěj Smetana.
