Curator Lívia Nolasco-Rózsás will introduce the exhibition Persistent Worlds to Kunsthalle Praha visitors. The show explores alternative worlds through immersive scenarios and game environments. The guided tour, held in English, offers a unique opportunity to glimpse parallel worlds where fiction meets reality and imagination meets critical thought.
The exhibition presents the latest work of Los Angeles–based artist and writer Alice Bucknell. Their practice explores speculative fiction, ecology, quantum mechanics and nonhuman intelligences. Bucknell’s projects highlight the interconnectedness of human, nonhuman and technological entities, offering a vision of a world defined by these relationships. Through immersive scenarios they imagine alternative, sustainable realities that are crucial for addressing the crises brought about by dominant modernist paradigms.
