Participants will explore the exhibition Annette Messager: Tragikomedie with curator Theo Carnegy-Tan. They will learn more about how the project came together, the collaboration with the artist, and the exhibition’s overall concept.

This major solo exhibition by French artist Annette Messager presents the key themes that have shaped her practice. In her installations, she brings together objects, textiles, light and movement to create immersive environments that draw viewers in. Throughout her work, she explores the tension between opposites such as care and violence, order and chaos, humour and sadness.

Visitors who would also like to explore the exhibition on their own are advised to arrive well before the guided tour begins.
