The new CTRL+Play installation in Kidshalle, which turns 3D printers into musical instruments, was created, among other things, for musicians interested in exploring unexpected forms of sound. One of them is Never Sol, whose layered approach allows her to work with the sounds of the printers in an original way and transform them into a unique live performance that you won’t experience anywhere else.
Never Sol is the artistic name of Prague-based musician, composer and producer Sára Vondrášková. Her creative process centres on modular synthesisers and voice. She creates emotionally charged compositions that combine analogue synths, reverb-heavy production and cathartic vocal textures. She has released two studio albums with her solo project, toured across Europe and performed at numerous clubs and festivals. Never Sol also composes music for contemporary dance, theatre and film, and hosts a radio show on Czech Radio Vltava focused on alternative and experimental music.
