3D SCAN

With the development of smart devices, tools have also evolved, allowing us not only to contribute to the virtual world but also to archive tangible objects. The audiovisual installation The Grief of Misfit Cathedrals by Lunchmeat Studio uses 3D scanning as one of its primary techniques.

Creating photorealistic 3D scans is becoming increasingly accessible and is now an essential tool for today’s digital creators.

In this workshop, participants will learn the basics and types of digital object creation and will try photogrammetry in practice. They will also create their own object, which they can scan and virtually place in the building's environment.
