Workshop: The Zenger Substation LIVE!

We will learn how to film a short, engaging video and create video footage shorter than 30 seconds. We will discover different approaches to cinematic language and its forms. While doing so, we will explore the Cabinet of Electric Curiosities—a site specific installation by artist Mark Dion, whose archaeological work analyses and categorises remnants of the old substation and playfully presents them in the gallery space. Using our cameras, we will find and document the contemporary curiosities of Kunsthalle Praha, which will we then archive in our own digital cabinet. We will use iPads and the application iMovie.
