A diverse program of lectures, workshops, and experiential performances will introduce teachers to various approaches to art education. In the third summer school, we will focus on the medium of photography in contemporary creation.
We will build on the exhibition Exposures by rediscovered Bauhaus photographer Lucia Moholy. Together with prominent artists on the Czech scene, we will explore conceptual approaches to photography and photographic techniques.
We will also experiment with generating images using artificial intelligence. Additionally, we will delve into the history and heritage of the Bauhaus. Besides this, we will introduce a unique gallery debating project, aiming to cultivate discussions about art in society and teach students to form arguments and think critically.
In the context of Ester Geislerová's exhibition What We Should’ve Said but Didn’t, we will also try an experiential lesson focused on empathetic communication for students.
