We will focus on Lucia Moholy's contribution to the development of modern photography. In the first comprehensive retrospective, we will explore her portrait, experimental, and documentary photographs. Throughout her lifelong work, Lucia Moholy reflected on the role of photography, exploring its various possibilities for preservation and reproduction, and we will also introduce her favorite microfilm as a precursor to digital media. Considering that significant images from the Bauhaus art school were not attributed to her for a long time, we will also discuss the issues of authorship and originality.
