Art ‘n’ Dine with Matt Field

You’ll meet a notable guest 

At our next Art 'n' Dine evening on Wednesday, 20 March, we will welcome Matt Field to Kunsthalle Praha – British diplomat, and Ambassador of the United Kingdom to the Czech Republic. 

What will be discussed 

Our current exhibition READ by the duo Elmgreen & Dragset not only interprets the historical significance of libraries in human society, but also encourages reflection on what literature and the physical book mean to us in today's world, where a new, hybrid environment is being created between the traditional and digital realms. 

Literature is still a key channel of intercultural understanding as part of creative industries where the UK and Czech Republic have vibrant ecosystems. Co-founder of Kunsthalle Praha, Petr Pudil, and Matt Field will expand on these topics in their conversation. 

You’ll get to know our art collection 

During the evening, an artwork from the Kunsthalle Praha collection, selected by Matt Field, will be presented by the art collection team. 

The evening will continue with a dinner buffet prepared by Chef Martin Jandík, all in the unmistakable atmosphere of our industrial bistro. We look forward to seeing you! 

The ticket includes a buffet dinner, welcome drink, soft drinks and the evening programme. The price for one person is 1200 CZK.
